Internal Regulations in Students' Hostels of Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy (Extract)
- to let visitors only at the time stated in the present Regulations;
- to pay the hostel fee and fee all chargeable services in time;
- not to make much noise and not to disturb roommates and neighbours;
- to follow these rules, safety and fire safety regulations, the student's code of honor and other legislative acts, orders and resolutions of the administration of the Academy and the students' campus;
- to follow the instructions of using electrical appliances;
- to handle the hostel facilities carefully;
- to save electricity, gas and water;
- to keep the room and public premises in order, to clean the room every day and do the c1eanin he kitchen in accordance with the duty list;
- to pay for damage to property in accordance with the present legislation and the contract of lease;
- to show the passing document and the identity on requirement of the administration of the students' campus;
- to let the administration of the students' campus into the room for control of the observance of the present Regulations, property safekeeping, utilities' repairing.
Students Residing in a Students' Hostel are Prohibited:
- to change the place of residing without preliminary notice of the
administration; - to move hostel property from one room to another;
- to repair electric wiring and power lines;
- to make much noise and use vibrating devices disturbing roommates and neighbours. From 10-00 p.m. to 7-00 a.m. one should turn down the volume of TV sets, radios, CD-players and other devices.
- to stick notices, time-tables, posters and other things onto the walls of the room and public premises where permission signs are displayed;
- to let strangers into the hostel without permission, to let visitors stay in the room at night; to lease the room to strangers and people residing in the hostel.
In students' hostels and on the territory of the students' campus it is strictly prohibited to smoke, to drink alcohol, keep and sell any alcoholic drinks (including beer), to occur in public places drunk, to store, use, distribute and sell narcotic drugs.
- to set additional locks onto the room door and change the locks on ar.y rooms of the hostel without the permission of the administration of the students' campus;
- to use the sources of open fire in hostel premises;
- to keep pets in a hostel;
- to store huge things which disturb roommates and neghbours.
Entrance into the Hostel
Entrance into hotels is regulated by the security team acting in accordance with the instruction. Their requirements are obligatory for all residing and visiting hostels.
- Hostels are open every day from 6.00am to 11.00pm
Hostel residents are given a passing document which gives the right to enter the hostel. It is strictly prohibited to give the passing document to other people. Handing passing documents over to other people will cause disciplinary actions.
In case of canceling the contract of lease (including cases of dismissal and graduation) hostel residents are obliged to give the passing document back the hostel superintendent.
On entering a hostel:
- hostel residents have to unfold and show the passing documents;
- hostel and the academy staff show their staff pass;
- to enter a hostel residents' relatives and acquaintances have to show an identity document, register in the hostel registry book, leave their and the resident's documents at the security post till leaving the hostel;
- people who are hired to do schedule work about a hostel are to be included in the approved by the superintendent list of people who are allowed to enter the hostel;
- other people enter a hostel only in case of hostel superintendent's permission (or the permission of the director of the students' campus) and showing identifying documents to the security team in the presence of people who they have come to.
All people entering a students' hostel are registered in the registry book.
Residents' relatives and acquaintances are allowed to enter a hostel every day from 4-00 p.m. till 10-30 p.m. On days off and holidays - from 11-00 a.m. to 10-30 p.m.
- Taking away of large things and other property out of a hostel is allowed in case of a hostel's superintendent' permission. To provide residents' safety it is prohibited for a security team to take any things from non residents of a hostel.
- Residents who have invited people are responsible for their rule observance.
- Residents' relatives should stay in a hostel only during the time stated by the present rules.
- People who have been evicted from the hostel are not allowed to enter it.
